The Kingdom of God!

Chapter 17

In the Eagle's View, "The United States of America, Part 6", I wrote,

The great Apostle Paul said in Eph. 6:12,

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

There is a tremendous onslaught by the rulers of darkness throughout the world today. Satan realizes that his time is short and he is pulling out everything he has in his hatred toward the those the Lord has blessed. Jesus defeated him during His time here on earth and led the captives   free. Satan's only power today is what mankind gives to him. I want to point out to you that Paul said we are not wrestling against flesh and blood. It is not people we wrestle against, although sometimes it seems that way, it is spirits. Paul also said in 2 Cor. 5:17,

"Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer." (WE KNOW Him in the spirit)

I have shared with you the fact that during a set period of time by the Lord, there are parallels from Biblical times that occur in the present time. We are in a set period of time now as I have shared with you about Lincoln and Kennedy and history repeating itself. I have mention some of our past presidents and the parallels with them and biblical times."

The Lord told Ezekiel in Eze. 21:26,

"And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end, "Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high. I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it to him."

This is a parallel of what is about to happen in our election of 2020. Satan always reveals himself by over doing what he is up to and bragging about what he is doing. The Democratic Party is overjoyed at the corrupt results of the election and have been revealing their corrupt plan to destroy this nation as we now know it!

I want to encourage you to be bold and brave and not give up in your trust in what the prophets of God are saying the will of the Father is! Now is the time to use your faith and to agree with the Lord that His will be done in the selecting of the next president of the United States and do not listen to what the corrupt media is saying about the results of the election. The enemy lied and stuff ballots and reprogramed the voting machines to elect their man to the office. He even told you that he had the corrupt people to accomplish his election.

However, they did not consider the Church raising up to seek the Lords will! They laugh at the Church and the Lord heard them! In some 72 years of my being involved in the Kingdom of God I have never seen, until now, the Church that Jesus died for, raising up and declaring war against the evil forces that are not only trying to destroy our nation but all nations that are based upon freedom. There are organized marches and prayer and intercession groups going on throughout our nation.

The great army of the Lord Jesus Christ is awakening out of a spirit of slumber and the remnant that the Lord has raised up and equipped with the full armor that Paul talks about in Eph. 6:11-13,

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, stand.

We are fasting and praying and coming into agreement with the desires of our Father as revealed to us by His Spirit! Jesus made a profound statement in Matt. 6;10 when He gave us the Lord's prayer,

"Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven!"

However, there are still multitudes of churches that have their heads buried in sand and do not have discernment about what the Lord is doing and what is really happening in our nation. There are even many churches that believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that are more interested in building membership in their churches. I have always been amazed at pastors that I have talked with over the years that are always bragging on what the Lord is doing in their meetings and how many were saved and healed in their services.

Invariably, the conversation would turn to themselves. They would ask me what is happening in my ministry and I would just say that the Lord is moving in our services."

I would just like to take a few minutes to speak to those of you who may have never received the baptism of the Holy Spirit! There are many churches that have taught against the baptism of the Holy Spirit and you may be attending one of them. Peter told the people in Acts 2, when they saw something strange happening among them on the Day of Pentecost because they heard people talking in tongues and glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 2:1-6,

"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.  And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language."

In Acts 2:14-21,

"But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, You men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Upon hearing this and many other words Peter spoke, they cried out "What shall we do and Peter answered and said this to them, Acts 2:38,

"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

The great Apostle Paul said in 1 Cor. 2:1-5,

"And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."

When was the last time you saw a demonstration of the power of God in your church services? Jesus said in John 14:12-14,

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

Have you ever witnessed someone receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in one of your church services with the evidence of speaking in tongues? This is what happened on the Day of Pentecost! Have you ever witnessed someone being healed in one of your church services? Do any of you pastors ever lay hands on someone and pray that they be healed? Jesus said that these signs would follow them that believe!

When I was young, we lived in the country and mom and dad would take us to church and dad would lead the singing and preach. We moved to town when I was a teenager and attended the same kind of church. In all of these services, I never once saw hands laid on anyone to be healed and never saw anyone baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues! When I read what Jesus said in Mark 16:17-18,

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

I begin to wonder why I never saw this happening in our church! So, I begin to study what I had been told by preachers and teachers to see if I could come to the same conclusion that they had! The more I studied, the more I was convinced that they were wrong! They had taught me that the baptism of the Holy Spirit ceased when the last Apostle died and it was no longer available today. Yet, I had heard where many of their churches had experience an outbreak of this happening!

I went before the throne of grace and asked our Father to fill me with His Spirit and I began to confess that the Lord heard my plea and by faith I received His promise! As I was working on the roof of a two-story apartment building tying in an electrical service, I was praying thanking the Lord for filling me with His Spirit and I begin to realize, I was speaking in another language. The first words that I was saying was, "Prayunda Chorestis!" Which I later learned was translated as Greek, "Praise be to Christ!"

After that time, I saw things in the Bible that I had never seen before and understood the spiritual application that Jesus was talking about! My life has never been the same since!

The only reason I could ever leave the church I was brought up in was because I wanted to know the truth and I told the Lord I would do anything to know the truth! Was it hard to undergo the shame and reproach and be told by the leaders of the church I was attending that I was wrong and they were going to have to withdraw fellowship with me and warn all the other churches about me? I found myself standing in the valley of decision. Was I going to take my family out of the church we had been associated all our lives and walk into the unknown? I would have to leave the friends that I had grown up with and walk away from them and be led by the Spirit of the Lord? It was one of the hardest things that I ever have had to do. Most of my family was in that church and didn't understand why I would dare to leave their church! However, I was so intent on being led by the Spirit of the Lord into the truth of the Lord, that I chose to follow the leading of the Lord. Even many years later, my brother-in -law asked me, "David, will you ever come back to our church!"

Jesus said in John 8:31-32,

"If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

I could write books on my experiences of being led by the Spirit of the Lord. I have ministered in South Africa three different times and in Europe and have seen hundreds accept the Lord and be filled with His Spirit, all because I was willing to pay the price of putting Him first in my life! I never cease to be amazed at the doors that the Spirit of the Lord opened and also closed for me over the years. I would never, in a million years, have thought about going to South Africa or to Europe to preach the gospel and to encourage pastors there. Yet, the Lord laid it on my heart to do just that and I was obedient to Him. It is so exciting to be led by the Spirit of the Lord and to live your life as He has planned it for you!

I encourage you to be a seeker of truth and to be brave enough to follow His Spirit! If you are young, you will live to see the greatest outpouring of the Spirit of the Lord the world has ever seen and you can be in the midst of it! God has a plan for you and He has written a book about what he has planned for you to do. Seek His face and ask the Lord what He has planned for you to do! If you will just learn to serve and be active in the church the Lord has you in, He will open doors for you that no man can shut and your life will be a shining example to the world of the glory of the Lord!

When you were baptized, the Holy Spirit of the Lord place you in the Body of Christ where He wants you to function and if you will be a servant and wait upon the Lord, He will use you to reach people that I could never reach because He has designed you to do that! Paul said in 1 Cor. 12:13,

"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit."

So, may I encourage you to always be led by the Spirit of the Lord and to be a seeker of The Kingdom of God! He will lead you to do things that you would never have wanted to do and take you to places that you would never have thought of going! You will be on the front lines of The Kingdom of God and see things that you would never have believed were possible!

May I leave you with this prayer that the great Apostle Paul pinned many years ago in Col. 1:9-13, (NIV)

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light."
